Autumn's favorite part of working with animals is interacting with them and discovering their unique personalities. She loves experiencing their individual quirks, likes, and dislikes, which she finds as varied and interesting as those of people.

Jahaira R.

Jahaira joined the Ghent Veterinary Team as a Veterinary Assistant in January, 2018. She moved to Norfolk, VA from Allentown, PA. Jahaira is a mother of two (Gio and Ivelisse), and also has two pups (Leo and Raph) and a bearded dragon (Amia).

Jasmine's absolute favorite part about working with animals is getting to know both the pets and their owners, and the rewarding experience of earning their trust.

Michael (Mikey)'s favorite part about working at the hospital is the people he works with! They make it fun and enjoyable, especially with the running joke about people asking what he's having for lunch.

Amber's absolute favorite part about working with animals is the joy they bring her. She finds purpose in being their voice, advocating for their needs, comfort, and care.

Daysi finds deep satisfaction in contributing to improving the quality of life for pets and their families. It brings her joy to see animals get better and she's touched by their noble, grateful, and pure souls.

Tyrone's favorite part of working with animals is the element of surprise with each patient and client. He enjoys the mental challenge of solving problems, even with a patient's background readily available.
