Dr. Walker truly enjoys the preventative health aspect of working with animals, focusing on improving their quality of life. She also values the supportive environment at the hospital, where everyone lifts one another up.
At home, Nicole has a lively trio of dogs:
- Casper, a mini cockapoo, loves to do "trust jumps," often leaping into your arms unexpectedly.
- Binx, another mini cockapoo, lives life at 100 mph!
- Samson, a Great Pyrenees mix, has a surprising quirk—he's scared of the dark.
When she's not at work, Nicole loves spending time with her husband and dogs. Her go-to comfort food or favorite snack is ice cream.
A fun fact about Dr. Walker that most people don't know is that she can learn the lyrics to most songs after only a few listens. What always makes her day better is a sweet treat.
Nicole's favorite season is fall. She enjoys the cooler weather, watching the leaves change, and, of course, Halloween! Having grown up in an Army family, Nicole is now married into the Navy. Dr. Walker is a graduate of Iowa State University and the Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine.
