Our pets are true family members and losing one is devastating. If there is something that we can do to improve your pet’s quality of life, we will discuss the options with you. However, if needed we are able to let your pet pass peacefully. We have a private room here at Ghent Veterinary Hospital for euthanasia. This is called a Comfort Room and is a more peaceful environment than the typical exam room. There is a separate exit as well so you can be with your loved one for as long as you want and can leave whenever you are ready. We do provide a paw print keepsake for all pets at no charge. We can also arrange for euthanasia in the comfort of your home.
There are several cremation services available, which we can discuss with you. Local laws apply for private burial, and we can discuss these with you if this is your preference. We are aware that this is a stressful time and encourage you to talk to us about any questions or concerns.
