Our 21st Street location is located in the historic Ghent neighborhood of Norfolk, minutes from Downtown Norfolk and the beaches of Norfolk and Virginia Beach. Our new Granby Street location is conveniently located adjacent to the Virginia Zoo and the 32.5 acre Lafayette Park in Norfolk. Weekly construction updates are shared here.
Ghent Vet is AAHA Accredited and follows Fear Free protocols throughout our operations. As a privately owned practice, we offer unique opportunities for growth and career satisfaction that are very difficult to find at corporate-owned hospitals. Our staff veterinarians are supported by a strong team of licensed technicians and veterinary assistants, and we consistently average a staff to DVM ratio of 6 to 1. Our regular appointments are scheduled in 30 minute increments to allow sufficient time to spend with each client and patient.
